"ok like I always see people who wear like granny panties with pants that don't have backpockets and so you can like see the underwear line. That is like the most annoying thing to me is when you can see the underwear line. so yea. if you can think of any that annoy you, post em'.

vintage_gal
"Well, that is better than letting your g-strings hang out of the back of your pants.

"I don't like underwear lines, but your thong should not be hanging out either.

paramedic34
"Anyone else get the urge to yank on a hanging thong? I'll bet the wedgie would cut them right in two!! I do not see how that can possibly be comfortable. I know people that swear by them, but It can't possibly be sanitary either! Don't want panty lines? Get the microfibers!Or, heaven forbid, wear grannies!

minidove
"Thongs look hot, grannies are not. I would rather see a thong than grannies.

katiekins
"Yikes, I would rather not see any underwear... grannies or thong! If the pants are that lowcut, I would not be thinking about my undies... I would be re-thinking the pants! Microfiber underwear is great for the "seamless" look. Thongs really aren't that bad... you get used to them. I actually think grannies are the most uncomfortable because they bunch up and give you that "potato sack butt" look! To each his own... but underwear is called UNDERwear for a reason...

"Respectfully, Life experience has taught me that the manner in which one communicates sends meta messages (both good and bad) to others. Over using "like" in speech and typing sends negative meta messages (on a MSN fashion post, it's perfectly acceptable, but be aware that you do it and refrain from doing it in formal situations). As for annoying: Life is too short to worry about how other people are annoying. We are all guilty of being judgemental. I judged you by your use of "like." All we can do in this world is try to look beyond granny panties and see people.

bellechic
"Theres a reason this is a fashion forum, and thats stating opinions on fashion trends, even annoying ones. Although I do agree, saying the word "like" is understandable in usual conversation, but taking the time to type it out just breaks up your sentences and adds confusion for readers. I find underwear lines to be annoying as well simply because pocketless pants leave your rear completely exposed for everyone and the point is for clean lines, underwear lines just intrude on the whole 'pocketless' concept.

Anytime that I can see someone's under wear hanging out of their clothes is annoying to me.

"My personal pet-peeve is too-tight tops with bra-lines pushing through. It's not only unattractive, it makes even someone with a good figure look like they've gained weight. Why ruin a good outfit with bad planning?!?

snooty_prof
"Unfortunately, what is “fashionable” frequently extends beyond what one wears (or does not wear), to how one communicates (orally or otherwise). In this instance, I have to agree that the over-use of the term "like" is most annoying - even if it is "fashionable." On a positive note, I appreciate that the term “you know?” wasn’t used as part of the communication. Its use is currently at the top of my “most annoying” list.

"you know what bugs me? all the coach apparel in the same material as the purses. i met a friend of a friend this past weekend ... the ONLY thing she talked about was her coach purse (it was like the size of a clutch, nothing too spectacular) and then on sunday, she ran out and bought these hideous coach shoes to match. she came back from the mall, literally stomping so EVERYONE in the room would notice her new shoes. ugh. how obnoxious! i also hate the new style i've seen around my college town - sweats, or other equally casual attire, with pumps. if you're going to wear sweats, don't try to church it up with your best green leaher pumps - we all know you still have sweats on!! ha ha. this post is awesome. i'll be back with more faux pas as i think of them. oh, another - the overly dyed hair look. i am so tired of seeing these girls with light complexions wearing greasy, dead black hair and then girls with very dark complexions bleaching their hair ... in both cases, the roots show, it looks frizzy and horrible, and is just ugly.

ByeStar
"tex, that's the funniest thing I've heard in awhile. Remember about 15 years ago when Coach was kinda high-end? I can't be-lieve your friend. NOW ANYONE CAN GET COACH! I see 13 years olds with Coach. Get her a Hogan, Fendi or Balenciaga bag and tell her to step her game up! BTW when will THESE JUST DIE!!! Eye liner used as lip liner (that outlined cartoon lip look)FedorasFrankie B jumpsuits and Uggs (what's worst, WORN TOGETHER!!)The wrong women going bra-lessDark-complexions wearing foundation waaaaaaay too light for themHair extensions that DO NOT MATCH your own hair textureSuper frosty lip gloss on dark or deep tanned skin (you look like a photo negative)

sillyhilly
"It might just be me, but I can't stand that people lighten their hair and darken their skin so excessively! It might look okay on ethnic girls, but on white girls your skin shouldn't be darker than your hair... it's just not "found-in-nature"!

"This is the funniest message board I've read in a while. I'm not a fashion expert, geese I'm not even an apprentice; but I can not stand the bringing back of the leggings/tights under skirts look. But I would have to say my biggest annoyance is little girls dressing like adults. A lot of make-up and super short skirts with heels**...not when you're 12! I hate it! Where are their parents! **I don't believe a lot of a make-up or super short skirts should actually be worn at any age.

"I find for a comfortable and invisible panty line boyshort styles are great because there is no elastic around the leg opening. No elastic=No panty line. As for thongs, they can be invisible-when they fit. But most people seem to wear them too tight and a tight thong is so unflattering, just today I saw a young women wearing white jogging pant with a bright pink thong, and she was no little lady let me tell you. Yikes! As for grannies, unless your wearing pants up to your chest they don't work with today's low cut styles, just like thongs they usually have to sit high to look right, which is why boyshorts are great for low cut styles.

"I can't stand it when women wear shoes that they have to mince around in or risk falling and breaking their foolish neck, or kicking the shoe off their foot. I work in a large building, and the place is overrun with women who wear these "cute little shoes" (you know the ones I mean), and they have to pretty much tiptoe everywhere. And they walk right smack dab in the middle of the sidewalk or hallway so I can't go around them. Get you and your stupid little Barbie shoes out of my way!

"I can't say that anybody else's unfortunate fashion choice actually annoys me except the oh so visible thong and bare flesh that exposed when a coworker bends over to get something and treats me to more than is appropriate in a business environment. There are a lot of trends that should have stayed buried in the 80s - i.e.: leggings. No good can come from this clothing item making its way back into the general population. And I actually feel some sympathy for those persons so lacking in self assurance that they feel the need to deck themselves out in overt labels to fell good about themselves. At one time, Coach meant timeless, classic, quality leather goods. I owned several Coach bags until the brand started covering every product with those unfortunate "c"s. When the brand became trendy and ugly, I gave all of my Coach bags to Goodwill. Dooney & Bourke did the same thing essentially. The company traded its classic image for trashy. I'm all for understated elegance. Wear a designer that puts his / her name on the inside - not splashed all over as a glaring advertisement.Ok - I'm off my soapbox!

But I would have to say my biggest annoyance is little girls dressing like adults. A lot of make-up and super short skirts with heels**...not when you're 12! I hate it! Where are their parents! I gave my daughter a pair of heels (not too high). It was just to learn how to walk with them. And she cant wear short skirts either. She's 12. And she looks like she's 13. I try to give her stuff so she learns how to be responsible and mature, but downsize it a little. I would never give her stilletos.

"My list... 1. Girls, especially young girls, who wear 8 lbs of blush. You're young, you have naturally glowing skin and that much blush and bronzer just looks nasty. When it comes to make up, less is always more. 2. 40 year old women who wear the "20 year old on a pub crawl" look all the time. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. 3. Ugg boots. Why give yourself cankles? 4. Too tight bras under a too tight t-shirt. Back rolls are not pretty and usually avoidable with a bra that fits properly. 5. Girls who go to the gym in a low cut haltertop and attempt to run on the treadmill. You look really funny trying to run and keep your bo obs in your shirt at the same time. I'll probably think of more later....

"I agree with the young girls wearing a lot of make-up. Unfortunately, society has taught many of them that to be beautiful, the have to wear a lot of make-up. I see teens and pre-teens wearing 3 lbs. of eye liner, 3 lbs. of mascara, and 5lbs. of eye shadow...I can't stand it. No make up at all is better than too much with pretty much everyone. Another thing I dislike that has already been mentioned is when young girls try to dress as twenty-one year-olds. Bikinis for babies and toddlers! What is this world coming to? The last thing that I will mention here is the brand-craze. For many highschoolers, if you are not wearing American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, or something from Forever XXI, you are not "in"...as well as the Coach C's. What ever happened to sensible, elegant black purses? A little flare is all right, but if every single person has the EXACT same thing, then it is no longer a new twist...all individuality is lost. If any young teenagers are reading this, let me urge, do NOT lose your identity by trying to change who you are to fit in. If you do not feel that what you are wearing is you , if you feel that it does not represent WHO you are to the world, then it is not right. That's all I have to say for now. - *EDIT* Haha, I just saw an article on Yahoo! (am I allowed to say that here? ) that mentioned how once-exclusive brands are no longer a sign of culture or financial succes since they are available to pretty much everyone now.

"Butt crack, thong crack, its all crack and should be illegal and grounds for arrest by the fashion police.........

thatkidfrom5thgrade
I agree with fashonista agent. I get clothes from old navy and kohls because they're comfortable and alot cheaper. I went to abercrombie because sweatshirts were 50% off and they were still a hundred dollars

iceangel101
"I am a teenager, but i would never change who I was to fit in. Instead of bying those stupid popular purses, clothes, shoes, WHATEVER, I made my own purse, and buy clothes and shoes that are comfortable.I just wanted you to know that not all teenagers are like that.

Mrs. Spittoon
"How about sporting clothes that fit loose enough to not show your underwear line, but are still snug enough to be flattering? Our generation has a problem with that. I'd rather see granny panty lines through actual clothes and someones butt crack hanging out of too tight and too low-cut pants.

moosetraxx121418
"What annoys me most would be this: I am 12 years old and in 7th grade and I personally don't wear any make-up, but I know this girl who wants to be a fashion designer but she dresses like a freak and wears way too mauch eye liner and she really doesn't look like she's ready to design anything yet, except maybe for hobos

Caitlen_designermarvel
"It's annoying when: People have no back pockets on thier jeans The jeans they are wearing are like an airport windsock on them They're wearing a miniskirt with knee high socks Everything is so mismatched it's like you jumped out of the shower and through a old disco mans "to giveaway" dumpster People who don't dress for thier shape People who obsess about fashion to such a degree that I wanna strangle themAND Extra low rise jeans (were they EVER flattering?!)

Bottom-heavy...very heavy.
"Well my feelings about granny baggies are that they are just for that group, the grannies and should not be worn by women under 50 who do not have bladder problems and need the extra support for their urinary napkins. Thongs are sweet, cute, stylish and sexy but in a secretive kinda way, there is no need to broadcast it above your jeans. actually its sexier when u dont cause then the guys think that u dont have on anything and that sets their hearts racing (ventolin please). So thong on and leave leave the parachutes. Dont deprive an old woman of her well deserved and well needed 6 pack of granny baggies.

I wear what is comfortable......if that means they start at my **** and end at my thighs then so be it.

"botton heavy very heavy hit the nail on the head.ladies please dress for you age and body shape.the occasional thong that slips out over the low ride jeans has it,s place and sometimes is a sight to behold,as for the grannies and their undergarments hooray for them and those who wear them

melanie 16
I wouldn't wanna see granny panty line's. but I also wouldn't wanna see someone's thong string out in the open can you say ****.

melanie 16
"Oh yea, the make up subject some girls wear way to much they think it makes them look better but to me it makes them look worst. my theory is you don't need make up if you know your beautiful. a little make up is okay but some girls go to fare.
