"my best advice would be to go try on the expensive bras, see what brands & styles work for you, write them down, and then go hunting on the internet. Though not a G, I am a larger size, and have found my bras on the internet (e-bay, freshpair.com, herroom.com) for $15 - $30 cheaper!

"Yes, ebay is my hero. I buy all kinds of things on there for sooo much cheaper than retail! I would definitely give it a shot! I bought my nursing bras on there for about half what they cost in stores!

"ever thought about a reduction? seriously. you'd make up for the cost by spending less on undergarments. i'm normally a 36d but much bigger now since i had a baby. problem is that i'm small in stature and cursed with huge ****. i breast feed and i know they'll shrink down when i'm no longer breast feeding. i only weigh about 120 lbs and plan on trying to loose weight to see if my breasts will also shrink. if not, i'm saving up cash and getting them made smaller. it sucks having a small body with a large chest that covers up your torso. it gives me the appearance of being thicker than i am. not that i'm assuming you are a large woman, but weight loss may help you shed a cup size which may help.

Try Figleaves and Lane Bryant. Here's a link to some of my reviews. http://www.bustyblues.com/reviews_part2.html

"I am a 36D and love Victoria Secret. They are a little more expensive, but well worth it!

"I used to work in the lingerie dept. of Carson Pirie Scott. One thing I can tell you is that almost every brand goes on sale at some point in time. We would set up the sales early in the week, but not advertize them until the weekend when people had the time to shop. So if you have a chance during the weekday when the stores aren't crazy busy, stop into your department store of choice and ask the sales associate when the Playtex or Bali or whatever brand you find fits well is going on sale. You might also get fitted by a specialty bra fitter and find out if you are wearing the correct size. Most women are not. Here in Chicago we have an Intimacy store which carries hard to find sizes. Then after getting the right size invest in one or two really good bras, and really follow the hand wash/hang dry instructions to maximize how long they last.

"Try www.spanx.com they are a great body shaping products and reasonably priced. The reason I like them is that I hate underwire and it's nearly impossible the find larger sized bra's without, which is curious because unlike some ladies we do not need any help in the cleavage department, I just want a bra that is sexy and supportive, a very hard combination to find sadly enough.
